Please follow the following steps to prepare your fiber for shipping
☐ Fill out the form on our Reservations page to set up your reservation for fiber processing
☐ Read and be sure you agree to our Processing Policies
☐ Fill out Order Form and sign Processing Policies Form (files below)
☐ Heavily skirt your fleece. Do NOT bag up an un-skirted fleece – it will mix all the vegetable matter into the entire fleece and will potentially make the fleece impossible to process.
☐ Put your fiber into plastic bags. If you washed it yourself be sure it is completely dry before bagging it up. Use a separate bag for each fleece that you want processed separately. Be sure to include “Fleece Information” portion of order form in EACH bag. Squeeze as much air out of the bag as possible and tie it shut.
☐ If you plan to ship your fiber in: put bags into a box, include the “Contact Information” part of the order form and your signed Processing Policies Form. If there is more than one box, please include a copy of the “Contact Information” part of the order form in EACH box.
If you plan to drop off in-person: you need to contact us at info@willowcreekfibermill.co to schedule a drop-off appointment. Bring the “Contact Information” part of the order form and your signed Processing Policies Form with you.
☐ Plan to send your fiber in (or schedule a drop-off appointment) so that it will arrive within the 14 days prior to your reservation date. We do not have space to store fiber for longer than 2 weeks prior to your reservation date.
☐ Ship your box(es) using UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
