Now Accepting Reservations!

Wouldn’t it be great if when you were done shearing and skirting your batch of fleece this year you could send it to the mill and have the processing begin RIGHT AWAY?  Wouldn’t it be nice if when you sent it in you weren’t waiting 3…6…9…months to get it back, but instead waiting only how long it took to process your batch?

Well, this is now a possibility for you at Willow Creek Fiber Mill.  We are presently accepting reservations for 2018!

How does it work?

If you know what date you will be ready to drop off your batch of fleece, as well as an approximate number of fleece you will be dropping off, then, with a non-refundable $100 deposit, you can hold your spot in our queue and we will start processing your batch as soon as it arrives.

To make your reservation please call us at 970-586-3478.

We are still accepting regular processing orders with the normal wait time.  Reservations just make it so you wont have the wait time.

Requirements:

Your batch of fleece must arrive at the mill on or before your reservation date or your deposit will be forfeited and you will lose your reservation.

Your batch of fleece must be within +/- 3 fleece of the estimated number of fleece that you gave with your reservation.

Your $100 deposit will go towards your processing fees.  However, if you cancel your reservation or your batch of fleece do not arrive at the mill on or before your reservation date the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.

We can take your deposit over the phone with a credit card, or through Paypal, or you can mail a check.  If you mail a check, we will hold your reservation date for 7 days while we wait for the check to arrive, if the check does not arrive within 7 days you will lose your reservation.

Reservation dates are available on a first-come first-served basis.

By submitting a reservation and deposit you are agreeing to these requirements and our processing policies.

Now is your chance to stop waiting months to get your fleece back from the mill.  Call today and save your spot for 2018!

Willow Creek Fiber Mill

Hi! We are Daniel and Kat and we own and operate Willow Creek Fiber Mill. We are located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado, surrounded by high peaks, Ponderosa pine forests, and plenty of wildlife. We both grew up in Estes Park and love the outdoors and beautiful views up here at 7,500 feet altitude. We have 5 children and our mill is a family business. We have a small backyard farm which over the years has included a flock of wool sheep, dairy goats, a dairy cow, chickens, and a large vegetable garden. We love animals and love raising our own fresh food for our family. We first became interested in fiber arts fifteen years ago when Kat learned to knit. The interest grew from there and Daniel learned to braid wool rugs from roving. Then we added learning to weave and spin, and over time we started our flock of wool sheep and learned how to process their fiber by hand from sheep to yarn. The more we learned the more we wanted to learn. We spent time learning about and working with many different types and textures of fiber. We enjoy working with fiber so much that one day we said, "We should do this for a living!" And thus began the dream of Willow Creek Fiber Mill. Daniel has had the opportunity to work with several different people at different mills around the country to learn the milling process and the large equipment. The experiences were priceless. We have also had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the top wool sheep breeders and alpaca breeders in Colorado to enhance our knowledge of the different types of fiber. We are committed to providing you with quality service and finished products to make all your beautiful fiber into whatever you dream it can be.
